Toledo is great? The city is broke. We have 75 fewer police officers, murders have doubled as well as rape and home intrusion. It's not safe. Wake up and smell the coffee. The city died forty years ago.

grew up in Sandusky OH, right smack between Toledo and Cleveland, that other great dying town. everything you said is true, still, if you grew up there at a certain age you still miss it.

Denver did a show in cleveland while the "Toledo" song was current. As he was making his last exit stage right, he saw three big girls who had driven from toledo just to give him a physical response to his song, and had somehow gotten back stage. Frightened, Denver quickly made his exit stage left. LOL
