Cort MR730FX first take

Me trying out my new Cort MR730 acoustic guitar.

Hey dude, I really liked the song and it's a good performance. I have the same guitar. Do you play it with factory settings? or you have the action lowered and use different strings? Thanks.

Hey, thanks for the feedback on the song! Here, I was using the standard D'addario EXP10s (10-47) shipped with it and, I think Standard tuning...

Since this video I've managed to have it fine tuned (thrust-rod adjustment - standard it comes with a totally relaxed thrust-rod...) and now I'm playing Elixir Acoustic Strings (Medium - 13-56). Very thick strings that tend to bring out a very powerful, but still mellow sound! I now tune the guitar way down in standard C# or Drop B for some songs!

I don't want to bias you in any way towards Elixirs, but they are way more durable than anything else I've played. GHS' - tone's gone after 1-2 weeks and even snap this quick (and I play .50mm picks...). Ernies are ok, but not quite as resonant as Elixirs. I have a 13-56 set of elixirs for about 4 months now - 3rehersals/week, play them home every day. Clean them with GHS Fast-Fret and they're good as new every time! Would recommend them to anyone! :)

Hy, very nice song, I really like it:)5/5* and beautiful guitar, I'm thinking about to buy the same, and I know that this guitar is an electro-acoustic but does it sounds good without an amp?

Because I can't afford an amp right now:(
