Gran Turismo 4: European Classic Car League @ Nurburgring

Here's a run at The Ring in my Citroen 2CV Type A. I won't go into the details of the vehicle's settings here, as this race can be won with fewer mods than I ran with for this clip.

You can save money by not getting a stage 3 Weight Reduction, Roll Cage, and maybe you only need a Semi-Racing Suspension. You will definitely need the Turbo 1, Racing Muffler, and Full Racing Transmission (I used Auto Setting 13, with some tweaks). Maybe it can be done without the other engine mods (Port Polish, Engine Balancing). An Oil Change is VERY helpful.

But the key to winning is: Field Selection. This is Lineup #7 (USA ver), and most others will include the 300SL, Elan, E-Type, or AC427. Those 4 cars seem to be unbeatable at this track, with this car. There are too many LONG uphill straights, and The Bottle will run out well before the Finish line.

If you buy the Turbo for this car, DO NOT use the Chip! When this happens, starting from a stand-still is nearly impossible, especially if your gears are longer than default. Try it during a Practice session and see!!

Until I finally won this race, I HATED THIS CAR! Now that I can sweep the series with it... I LOVE IT!

this was a test run for 10 points. it is fully modded, but i have since run the same series, same lineup for a 1000 point sweep...

This car is awarded as the prize car for two championship events (Tous France and the Citroen One Make Race). If you need another one, you can re-enter the championship, win it (even in B-spec), and you'll be ok.

I did it, thanks a lot, I got 1.1 % after those 5 races hehe......now i have 86.7 % but this game is tough, especially formula gt championship and some of those driving missions....how do you guys get through all this?
