Tomas Brolin - revenge of the pirouette

This is a video about the great swedish football player, Per Tomas Brolin (b. 29.11.1969). He celebrated his goals with the well known 'pirouette'. This is my tribute to something I previously considered as a somewhat odd celebration, but which I have come to terms with as time has passed by. Brolin proved to be one of the worlds best midfielders, during Sweden's World cup 1994 campaign. His best years as a football player (starting as a striker), was from 1990 to 1994. Unfortunately, he fractured his foot in november 1994, and never returned to quite the same level of fitness. He got his last cap for the Swedish national team as young as 26 years. Tomas Brolin, thank you for your contribution to world football! And for some great memories from the 1994 World Cup.

Sweden did not have a big three.... They had a BIG ELEVEN!! The whole team was amazing. They really could have won the whole tournament!! Great Team!

I never quite understood how he went from being such a world class player in the 94 world cup, to such an awful player for Crystal Palace in 98, what happened to him to go from one to the other in just 4 years???

Unforgettable!!! Amazing team 1994 and Brolin was incredible. To sad he got injured already at 26, otherwise he would be a toplayer of the world until he would bring Sweden to the next world cup as well.
