why is soul warden in this deck?

I wondered the same thing. This was a list that was from Manuel Bucher. The idea is to play a list without changing it first to see what needs changing and why. I changed the soul wardens to shriekmaws in my build.

im watching this at school at 2:50 he cascades. how does he get the pulse and primal?

I watched these videos, in order at least 3 times, and it made me want a five color elemental deck, so i went around looking for a good place to get most of the cards cheap in the 5 color elemental deck and i realized that lorwyn has almost a carbon-copy of the deck lol
