Yes I "mis-spoke", in other word, GOOFED. I prune the lateral branches and side shoots but leave terminal buds.

Looking forward to seeing you progress.

I am so happy I picked up the shovel and trowel again after a few years away form the "soil"

You should do an episode on watering. That's what confuses me most about growing tomatoes.  My first year and all, it's very confusing. Thanks and glad you stopped by my blog. Hope your potatoes do well next year!

hello Chuck, new to gardening. This year i went all out with some 60 tomato plants. Some in Hay straw bales doing very good here. But with the tomatoes in the ground i have had leave curl and blossom rot after heavy pruning. I have probaly 5 or 6 plants that have curled up very bad. Just wanted to know if you have any ideals. I could send pictures if needed thanks. I love the video's have the Florida weave installed and working great. Bill

haha Im 19 and I started getting into gardening as my hobby since last year ever since I grew my first crop of peas :D This year I started tomatoes and parsley, and your video have been very useful. Hopefully i can fix up my mistakes next season

hi chuck love the videos so much ive decided to do some here in the uk,im calling them growing black tomatoes in the uk.

not too sure what you mean when you prune the terminal leaves do you mean you prune the lateral branches or are you nipping out the side shoots im not sure.i think there may be some cultural differences in the description of a tomato plant between the uk and the us.
