I'am going through the roughest part of my 25yrs, my dog whom ive had for 7yrs ....i tied him down(he jumps the gate) and put him out to pee and defocate....i fell asleep...three hours later i woke up and he was lying dead in my backyard....he didnt die of a heat stroke...he died from strangeling himself with his break away collar...he was trying to get out of the heat and pulled till he choked himself to death...i should be dead and he should be alive....im trying to cope but how do i?

thank god, my dog seemed to catch a heatstroke today, he looks ok now, and my cousin says he will take him to the vet if he acts different still. i hope he makes it
