No Fun Fest GH tourney this year?

Well, I just recently found out that there won't be a tournament this year. No explanation, just "not coming back, sorry". If anyones wants to show their support, please contact the Fun Fest committee or go to the Fun Fest store and let them know.

Well, it wouldn't be a tournament per-se, but I've long had the idea that we should have a local Scorehero-style league, except everything's done in person (say, 3 songs per week, 4 weeks regular season, top half of standings go on to playoffs, either single or double elimination). Only problem is acquiring prizes for top two or three (depending on how many are in the league in the first place).

I have emailed amy(the woman that's over it) multiple times. I was a worker for it this past year. I'm very disappointed because warriors of rock has more challenging songs than the rest...whatever I think it's bullshit myself

@brandojohnson I had even emailed Amy last year, RIGHT AFTER THE TOURNEY, offering to shoot the final round and produce DVDs in the following days that could be sold for a few bucks to competitors and spectators. Never once heard back from her. Did you ever get a response?

This is very discouraging. I only placed like 12th? Last year, but i enjoyed every minute of this tournament. Maybe we can arrange our own tournament of some sort? Anyways, Keep me updated if possible. I would love to see SOMETHING done

dude this really sucks, i practice really early every year. just for each years tournaments, there such a blast. the excitement is really really crazy. i remember talking to amy on the phone last year. this really doesn't make much sense, this is Guitar Hero Warriors Of Rock were talking about. it is the hardest of all the games combined. (GHM,GHVH GH3...) u get the picture. what is amy's number at the mall? i will contact her ASAP

@localhbci yeah i did get a response...but she said they thought about a tourny for texas hold em and ddr i believe...but apparently there is no tourny at all this year. im my opinion, fun fest blows this year. there was going to be a decent concert with reo speedwagon...they backed out or something so yeah. it sucks ass this year.
