This is a very deep show. I'm not show "debth" can be measured. It's hard to say which one is the "deepest show of all time". You can say it's deeper then X show, but to say it's the deepest ever is kind of subjective (and pushing it ;) . But yeah it's one of the deepest shows out there for sure. Other shows that I'd call deep are Kino's Journey, Now and Then, Here and There, Haibane Renmei, and NGE.
@prede89 idc how subjective the opinion might be, but i actually did my final exam for english on the symbolism and depth of berserk. watch that show and tell me it isnt packed full of philosophical questioning and in depth hiddem symbolism. i could argue it all day that its by far the deepest form of literature we have today.
I don't doubt you. Sometimesit's the very gorey, very bloody series have a lot to say about the world and the nature of human beings. Never saw the show, but I do look forward to watching it one day. It seems kind of interesting I hear it's rooted heavily in nihilism, sort of like Gantz.
@prede89 if i could sum up berserk in 3 words it would have to be saddistic, tragic, and relative. berserk is whta you get when you put all the extremes of life together, along with all the unanswerable questions we have. mix it in with an unheard of form of character development, and mixture of linear to fantasy plot twists, this has got to be the heardest animes to understand around. i could go on and on about it.
Where are you from? In my country English is obligatory.. Business Administraion is really tough, I admire you a lot because I would never be able to get through the maths and law-aspects x) I actually study Interpretation with the languages Chinese, Japanese and English.. it's really a lot of work, especially to learn how to write correctly in Japanese/Chinese. So good luck with your Japanese-plans, I hope you will be as successful as with your Business Administration :)
Well, thanks a lot man. I am Mexican but I came to the United States about four years ago. Yes, Business Administration might be tough but it should be gratifying as well. Anyway, the law aspects of this major seem to be okay with me and the math is really not that complicated until you get into accounting. That is when the real nightmare starts XD. Well, I have tried to form Jap sentences by using a dictionary only, but the grammar is also used different than English.
