In this video I show where I believe some of Ganondorf's moves in Super Smash Bros. Melee have been derived from. I show the original and then how it was translated into SSBM. I put text in some parts of the video to explain everything as best as I can since nothing of Ganondorf's is -directly- put in Super Smash Bros. Melee. I acquired some of the video straight from my N64 and the SSBM video with my capture device.

  • I wonder... are there any easter eggs when two characters fight? Like if ganondorf and link fight in SSBM...?

  • @PrincesTomboy There is in Brawl. But I'm not telling you which characters. You'll have to figure it out for yourself. =P

  • FALCON PUNCH!=GANON PUNCH!

    FALCON KICK!=GANON KICK!

    Show me your moves!=Show me a triforce!

    YESH!=NOOH!

  • You don't say

  • i thought this video would just be a picture of captain falcon.

  • @TheGreatAges You think his forward aerial resembles his ocarina of time punch? I don't think so he goes straight downwards with the ocarina of time one and recovers very quickly from it. I do think that particular attack comes from somewhere and I have told CrappyCaptureDevice where so hopefully we'll see it in his brawl version of this video.

  • ...electric orbs from his *hands, therefore...

  • His moveset in SSBM actually fits him better than Cap Falcons. Ganondorf can fly, therefore his up+B makes sense. In OoT Ganondorf fires electric orbs from his, therefore his up+B, Dair and standing neutral A make sense because he's inflicting electric damage. Ganondorf's Fair is also the same attack he uses to punch the ground when Link hits him with a boomerang as he's flying, only in OoT it causes a tremor.

  • wtf again! his taunt is the same in Brawl,except his laugh sounds more manly and evil. they are both the same,and the only difference is the laugh.

  • wtf? Captain Falcon moves?! cheap... would have thought they would make Ganondorf use some moves that he does in Ocarina of Time...

  • real history all of his moves are cheap versions of c falcon

  • Ganondorf's moves in melee are the same from C. Falcon.
