I was fishing at the sacramento river that day and It tripped me out. The skunks were all acting weird an there wasn't any damn rain. It was maybe a lightning bolt every 5 seconds. I never understood it. Im guessin this guy was more in rancho cordova but somethin wasn't right about the storm
I remember that storm. I'm from the midwest, but even there you don't see that "constant thunder" very often. This reminded me of War of the Worlds...creepy!
good ol sactown, i used to live in elk grove and saw some decent thunderstorms there, we used to live rite off eg blvd and we even had a funnel cloud once.
Man on man do I miss Sacramento. I lived there for seven years from 1995 and now that I'm back up here in Washington State? Ughh, nothing exciting happens here other than maybe some snow once in a while.
This was a wild storm I was in Rocklin and could see the clouds heading towards us You could see the lightning but couldnt hear any thunder untill it was overhead then it just went O-F-F I had never witnessed lightning at such a quick frequency of flashes it was awesome It lasted for a long time thank you for the post
there was i huge storm in sacramento in 2008 i think it was in the summer i forgot but it knocked out my connection on computers for a week and trees fell down and almost every fence on my street was blown down and so much debree some thunder but like no lightning
In Rancho Cordova, it caught everyone by surprise. I was at Taco Bell when I saw it. I just thought it was going to be a cloudy evening before I saw the flashes in the sky. Great video of that night! I love thunderstorms!
