Well, although it's not THEIR fault, a part of this can only be blamed on the society we live in today.
Model this, glamour that; Everyone wants a part of it, and people lose their touch with reality.

What about modeling portfolio agencies, specifically Candi Models?
Any of your advice, experiences etc with Candi Models and Mint Brown would be appreciated!

CK Model Management - now called swan are TOTAL SCAMMERS!!!! Beware! spent close to £700 for a portfolio through SPOT STUDIO (their only photographers - apparently) went on one casting and have not heard from them in over 8 months - have been totally scammed - DO NOT FALL FOR IT

we went to blue rooms in london where my daughter was told shed get loads of work it cost 300 pounds and we never heard a thing also they bully you into buying portfolio this was 2 years ago they are bully boys beware

do not touch uk models -blue rooms-diesel-or any of their sister companys with a barge-pole total scam with false reviews written by a web design company will steal your money tell you they have had lots of interest in your pics lies lies lies they operate in central london beware !

@hottjd hi i think it might be. i received a letter from talent management and it had models direct at the bottom of it. needless to say will not be taking application any further! have a look at albamodel.info for reputable agencies.

i did models direct and my parents had to pay 170pounds and they sent me back a letter saying i was too skinny for it!? we sent back a letter for our money back and they diddnt reply after that!

Models Direct are now trading as Talent Management. They have been going for 20 years. They have been working with those behind Talent Search UK, for at least 5 years. They have been allowed to get a way with it, for far too long... As I have said before, any agency can make any claim they like and nobody will do anything to protect would be actors or models. Sad, but true!
