howto: MIDI control with iPhone / i3L_v0.2 / Ableton

*update* This guide is probably obsolete by now as I am not sure you can still get the needed apps like i3L and akaremote. Try "Jimmylecroy21s" suggestion and use Touch OSC. sorry I have no idea how to get it working on PC. The next time I will try this will be when the ipad is released ... it will be a superb multi touch controller ...

since it requires akaremote to be installed, then it will depend on if the 3g iphone is jailbroken to allow 3rd party apps to be run, or if there is a comparable app available for purchase on the itunes store. theres a high chance of one or either of those things happening

Hey!

This is a really great vid. and the soundtrack is awesome.

I have a major problem, i have PC win xp...Thus i don't have Airport function. Is there a work around...My setup works great when i have a wifi network present but without i'm f__ked. Really could do with a work around, my i touch is jailbroken so i dont mind 3rd party apps.
