@FooFilmOfficial I don't think he's too old-looking for a 41 year old, but If you look at Christopher Nolan, Zack Snyder or even Fincher. They look about the same age, except Nolan doesn't grow a beard and even when Zack grown one, he always looks young because he has that juvenile style and whatnot.
I think what aged him is his over-thinking/over-writing of his films. He really takes a lot of time figuring out every tiny detail about the era, the characters...he goes deep, almost into obcession

@SheridanODonnell amazing and scary (he's such a legend right now)!

His smoking habit has aged him DRASTICALLY.

you know what. i realized that was ignorance. that was just a comment on the appearance of how one dresses. it's a valid comment to the rest of these. your's on the other hand, was just said to anger me.
by the way, pta, stop making babies and release the master and/or inherit vice soon.

i don't get you people. he's a beautiful creature.

I probably am ignorant.
I'm just a huge PTA fan and had to announce his casual attire.
-
@TheWishfulOar you sound ignorant.

It's awesome to see a director with an amazing brain, dressed in jeans, a tee and sneakers.
Look at Wes Anderson. The guy drapes himself in fancy clothes. But is half as talented as PTA.

I like his approach to filmmaking: poor everything out, rest for a while, and let it happen again on its own. I imagine he has some money put away, so it's not like he has to work, and if I were in that position, I also wouldn't work unless I had to or really wanted to. It makes his next film more special anyways, whatever it turns out to be.
He's such a good filmmaker and consistently keeps going for it, never plays it safe. It's almost scary to think what his next film will be.

I'd like to have lunch with him just to talk films with him. God, that'd be amazing.
