I love Television, and for me this is a very sad site. I thought I might've been able to see them reasonably decent before they burnt out..ah well.

Well, you probably weren't at this show...

When Tom Verlaine was being screamed at to get off stage because of the park's noise cerfew.. he looked over his shoulder at the stage manager, gave a nic little smirk, and then went back to abusing his Stratocaster for the end of Marquee Moon.

It was faaantastic. One of the best shows I have seen.. and I've gone to 80+ shows in my life

I like the "suddenly..." part because that is live music and this is one of the greatest rock bands.

I discovered them in the documentary of the Ramones (End of a century), and i was like yaay! happy that discovered this band ^_^/

Take a close look at Tom's guitar's neck. Jazzmaster. The rest of it? I suppose he wanted the added flexibility of the 3 pickups...

Wanna see the real deal? Check out Fred Smith w/ the Revelons at Bowery Ballroom from last summer.That's the band that still has it.But for some reason they rarely do a show.

Tom Verlaine and Richard Lloyd - These guys were punk godfathers, psychedelic guitar madmen and romantic poets all at the same time. Nothing like them, before or since.
