Geopolitical analyst Dracul Van Helsing reads Part One of British writer G.K. Chesterton's poem Lepanto about the great naval battle at Lepanto in 1571 between the naval forces of Don Juan of Austria and the naval forces of the Sultan of the Ottoman Turks.
I thoroughly enjoyed both parts of this. Van Helsing's voice suits Chesterton's style, and together they evoke the drama of the scene. Poetry is amazingly powerful.

Deus vult! Where is our Don Juan of Austria today? Where is our Charles V? Our Pius V? It would seem Europe is flled only with so many Elizabeth I's.
