Nokia N96 Working with My Old Stowaway Bluetooth Keyboard

Nokia's free Bluetooth keyboard driver let me use my old Stowaway Bluetooth keyboard with a Nokia N96 smartphone. This is a huge help since the N96 does NOT have a QWERTY thumb keyboard

It's not in the OVI store.

I found it on the Nokia site though, after a bit of searching. All the versions of the driver are under Nokia Wireless Keyboard SU-8W Support.

I'm not sure which version to download for my S60v5 5800. I guess i'll try the v3.1, and the one for the old Nokia 7710 touch screen device.

I have this same keyboard which i use with my Nokia 5800. I use the Stowaway keyboard app for it though, especially made for this keyboard. But it's for S60v3, not v5 like my 5800.

Anyway, i've used this software and this keyboard with both the v3 and v5 S60, and it doesn't connect always, without some fiddling around. So i might just try this nokia software/driver. :)

Not a rocket science problem to find it. It is in both Nokia's old download area as well as in the Ovi Store. Just check the list of free apps

I agree, a link to the driver would have been useful. Good to know the keyboard works with the N96 though.
