It is not the same song, but it is very identical. Almost like a remix. The part between 1:10 and 1:36 is almost exactly like the Sonic 3D theme, Green Grove.

Yeah, I know. Richard Jacques is really amazing with these compositions. :) MSR and Sonic 3D Blast are great works. I think he might've done some composing for Sonic R as well.
