There have been a ton of creators from the UK working in comics, but one artist stands out in the hearts of iFanboy, and that's Alan Davis, best known for his Batman, JLA and X-Men work

I love that RON was turned onto Alan Davis' work by Excalibur... that was my introduction to Alan Davis' work as well and my *in* to comics in general.

Alan Davis was heavily influenced to illustrate by the legendary artwork of Neal Adams. If you compare the art they have very similar styles.

You didnt mention it but Alan did return to Excalibur as writer/artist starting with issue 42
