  • I do have all the plans. The Boat is Fir tongue ang groove. I waterproofed it with PLC adhesive. It is like liquid nails. Does not leak a drop. The bottom is 3/4 ply marine grade.

LOA is 16'5". I can find my measurments and send them to you if you wish. Happy New Year!

  • I may have some plans I have to look up. Lumber was about $800 easy to build. Bottom 3/4

    marine ply.let me check!

  • I love your boat!!! Where can I get the plans for Serenity III?

  • @jj140mba

It was my designe, I do have a few drawings.

  • Thank you for your lovely note. All has worked out well, and I plan to build a new boat in a year or so. I would like to build a down east type hull. The serenity III still prowls the waters both salt and fresh.

I wish you well Captain and keep the water close, it will always be there for you.

  • What happened to your family? I like your boat and the rugged look! Very nice.

  • @junkman6261

Daughter came down with Cancer, wife with blod clot, and son after deployment went through divorce with wife. All in one week! If I did not build the boat I would have gone nuts. Thanks for asking all is on mend and seems better.

  • @Irascottsdale I watch this video when all things seem to be going wrong. I hope someday to be able to build a boat of my own.

  • @Irascottsdale You also happy new year. Yes please I would like to make it and when he is ready to show you with some pictures. If the dimensions would like to send my e address r.muijselaar @ hetnet.nl

  • irascottsdale, I think your boat is still fun to watch.

I have a few questions and I would like to know how you've created the boot waterproof. And what are the dimensions, will you do that?

  • What a great boat...How long is it? The frame ballards are a great idea. I would like to start a boat soon but extra cash is a little tight right now. I recomend Jeff Spira's web-site and tutorials for useing a strongback jig. for another freehand boat .. a site called JK wood studio lake skiff.. There is a product called Dap weldwood, its a powder you mix with water ..a poly resin i think..builders all seem to love it. my neibor turned me on to it. it doesnt replace epoxy but it has its use

  • thank you for your video it helped me build my own boat

  • I'm looking to build a skiff for working on moorings, your boat would be perfect. However, I am a beginner boat builder and will need guidance, are there any plans you would recommend? Any information you could provide be appreciated.
