Well, I personally have a actual rabbit leash, dont buy a small dog leash , you need a leash fit for a rabbit, go to your local pet store and you'll find a rabbit leash, i usually let my rabbit run im my garage but theres 1 part of my garage that theres nothing in it so its safe for him. Make sure all your doors are closed or you can let your rabbit run around your kitchen because carpet isn't healthy for your rabbit, cause they like to chew on carpet so the kitchen is best.

Americangirlrocks201 rabbits should have lots of hidey houses:)

Americangirlrocks201 It is not recommended that you keep your rabbit outside. Especialy during the winter.

johnpintor12 You shouldn't give your rabbit cabbage, because it gives them gas and upsets their stomache. A good choice is romaine lettuce, cilantro, and parsley. Check the house rabbit society suggested veggie list out.:))

@bunnyworld101 Honestly, peeing on the plants won't do anything to them, but you can purchase a pen, make sure it's large, goes ALL THE WAY down to the floor, and goes a few feet high so he/she can run around and stay safe. Hope this helps, and be extra careful with what kind of pen you buy :)

Eating small amounts of paper and cardboard is fine. This is very common with rabbits and having paper/cardboard to chew and shred is a fun exercise for them. But, obviously, if the amounts seem large ask your vet. And youll want to make sure that you dont think its causing any blockages. Trust your gut. If they amount is small and stays that way it should be fine (and your rabbit is acting normal). But if the amount starts to get larger, take it away and consult your vet.

my pet rabbit doesn't have a proper cage. can you suggest how i can make it a good cage?
Suchi000 2 years ago
Check your local pet store - they probably sell rabbit cages. Since your rabbit will be in the cage for much of its life, make sure it has LOTS of room to run around!
