@Malkinator72 that set up sounds amazing! i was talking to a guy at a wrecking yard and he gave me a similar "ingredients" check list into cooking up a motor like that for my datsun. i see this video is from seattle and i'm from washington state too so i was wondering if i could get some more info from you about what all it took to get this in the car and running. thanks

That was great. My heart is still pumping hard. Being a 510 guy for 25 years and having driven my 510 that fast, I can appreciate that thrill-ride. Did something happen to the Beemer, cause it looked like he was doing just fine staying just a hair ahead? Thanks for sharing.

It's an LZ24 (2.4L bottom end, U67 L series 2 valve head). It has KA24 pistons. The cam has 0.6" lift and the throttle bodies are 48mm TWM (no chokes). It's port fuel injected with a C&B manifold. I run my home made Setpoint Engine Control Fuel injection ecu. The compression is 9.8:1 and I just run 94 octane.
