would u say a 180 lb pilot with 62lb motor..(dry)should use medium obsession or small?

Both. If you fly a lot at sea level with wind then go for the small, if you fly at higher altitude fly the medium. You can also fly the extra small no problem. This is a very versitile sport. Check out the video of my flying an 11sm glider. That is about 1/3rd the size of a large. Tiny tiny. The more wind you have the smaller the glider you should choose.
