  • I love MELVIN!!! It is just too fabu that you are giving a chronical of her fuzzy life, she is seriously gorgeous, and petite! I thought she'd be bigger as adult, she's just a little bun! It really makes me soooo happy to watch her! Thank you!!

  • Thank you so much for your nice comments! We have been very fortunate with Melvin, in all aspects. She does have her moods, too. Maybe that's because she's a little girl! haha Thanks again!

  • My goodness, the little cutie pie got so big!

    Thank you for the update!!!

  • It seemed for such a long time she stayed the same size; then, poof!, she started growing again. Thanks so much for following her story.

  • What is she eating? I am currently raising a male cottontail. He is 4 weeks old. The nest was attacked by a stray cat. I saved them. There were only 4 in the nest. 3 died during care. The male I have was the largest of the bunch, and the only survivor. I have been using KMR for food. As well as wild grasses. Debating on keeping him in the family. Though, he tries to escape when I take him out to the soccer field. I will more than likely be releasing him though.

  • They really are the best rabbits! I have 3 of these. My Bella likes to sit on my pillow and watch television with me and sleeps on my pillow. Bella likes to be handled. The two females like to be petted but not picked up.

  • Munch, munch, crunch, crunch!

  • I think she was being a little shy to eat with the camera rolling. My understanding is that cotties are not usually very willing to b e handled like that.

  • she is so cute! :)

  • I missed Melvin! She's so big now and so calm too...what a cutie pie. :)
