Umm, Andromeda was BEFORE Stargate Atlantis.

Season One Rocked!!! I miss this show.
It's not even on sci-fi channel anymore.

@ramv36 though most likely trying to introduce that much antimatter, technically a black hole in itself due to the amount of matter required, would cause the two objects to orbit each other for millions of years, faster and faster, causing unimaginably immense tidal forces across an area vastly larger than the original object. This would of course be more violent still as you consider matter annihilation would be occurring regularly as the 'anti'-black hole consumed regular matter...

@Brekkir BUT, you are forgetting that adding an equal amount of antimatter to a black hole would annihilate the entire mass of the black hole into pure energy. Energy that would then escape beCAUSE...there would then be no black hole! A black hole' gravity is powered by it's mass, and annihilating that mass would also remove it's gravitational force. Take the entire mass of the black hole, multiply it by c^2, then double the product, and you get an idea of the energy released.

Nova bombs rock!

I also love it, that you need the permission of all the Crewmembers to use Nova Bombs. And not just the Captain who simply orders to blow shit up.

@VazzaPrime actually they dont use antimatter in andromeda a nova bomb is made of voltarium

This show was all right before Sorbo's giant ego took it over.

That's a lot of bombs....... what a waste.....
-
andromeda would wipe the floor with star wars. :D

@Brekkir " antimatter would just add to the black hole's mass content."
Well, let's see you actually show some proof to support it.

That show looks so cheap and daggy (sorry). Oh and look, they have a Ronon too!

I thought so too, at first but it grows on you, this is from its first few episodes so it will look cheap.
And remember, every scifi has its strong, yet misunderstood aliens. Not only Atlantis!!
