Not in Pakistan only in Karachi where people choose to call a mate a "Maa See" and the word Khala is only used in Urdu which borrosed from the the Centeral Asian Language, but Majority of Pakistanies and Indians call their mother sister a Maa see just Like Maa Moon I hope you do your research before making excuses for a stupit mistake make by this advertiser

Although you're right 'maa si' comes from 'maa ke jaisi' -like the mother, a word used for mother's sister. Now I don't where you are from but in Pakistan, for some reason maids are called maasis here...and the word we use for mother's sister is khala.

How stupid this add is she is calling a mate "Maa See" this mean some one who is like mother or look like mother, the stupid advertiser does not even know the meaning of the word and if they do than do they also treat their mother in the same way
