Double Horse 9053 Volitation

Heli must be off when charging the 9053 the 2 wire plug should be unplug or you'll fry the board

Great Helicopter, I fell in love with it at the Mall but they wanted $120.00 for it. XHeli.com has it for $55 plus $15 shipping. eBay also has em for about $61. I'm thinking of treating myself to this one for my Birthday now in September. I'm just a little turned off by the 2hr charge for just 10min of flying. How is yours turning out? Do you have Any videos posted on it? I'm really psyched about getting one.

Hi there and thanks for posting - I do have some videos of me flying in my garage - Just go to my channel - As far as me enjoying it, I was a little disapointed with it - If you want to fly indoors, it's a great helicopter - If you want to fly outdoors, you have to have a near windless day just to be able to get it to fly forward - I've modified the tail rotor and glue a magnet under the canopy to add more weight to the front - If you want to fly outside, I don't recommend this.

@BidCrushr - Just curious as to what your skill level is? Beginner? If you have some experience, I recommend the double horse 9100 and the 9104 - It's the same price and is a fixed pitch helicopter - Trust me, you will not go wrong - If you are a beginner, I recommend the double horse 9101coaxial helicopter - Check out some of my videos! I will do some reviews on the 9100, 9101, and the Exceed Falcon 40.

Hi,

some modifications are needed for this heli.

1) put another battery, Lipo 2200 mA, 7,4V; with this you can fly longer and this puts some weight in the front of the hely--> better for foward fly

2) Change the rear blade to increase power to fly forward--> take the blade from the heli H 8827 from SH--> it fits perfect

Hi, how many do you have now?... I started with the syma mini apache and then the 9053 am waiting for parts, both my gears striped while doing the bottom blade (flip) update. now I just got the air hog blue sky with the camara paid around the same for both $ 60 each it is a kool hobbie
