  • So can you just plug your guitar in this program and your pc and speakers act as your amp? I didn't think you could do that. I wouldn't think it would sound very good if you could. I'm just siting here thinking, WTF?

  • @MrAshrak117 I wouldn't use it as my amp, but for demo recording/practicing purposes it's great!

  • plz how do you connected the guitar into the Mac ??

  • @ahchouch Watch my video called "Garageband How to, How to connect your guitar to your mac" it will answer all your questions.

  • Have you ever tried to connect an acoustic guitar? How does it sound?

  • @aldoaug I have connected an acoustic guitar to my Mac before. The sound is ok, but I always prefer a microphone for acoustic guitars, especially for recording!

  • @DangerHaiVoltage

it takes a lot of time to setup right distortion in GB but it is possible, default settings are sucks for sure. I recomend to use amplitube plugin to Garageband if you want to record some metal / rock music.

  • Maybe I messed up my default settings..

  • On my Garageband it's called Ominous Crunch... and the model is Modern Stack, so don't know why the difference. Hey, but it worked and Thanks!!

  • Awesome; worked for my Taylor and an acoustic pickup

  • thanks it works !

  • @tomandz4 I KNOW

  • thanks for doing this video ... i also watched your video on audio box ... i have macbookpro, audiobox, gibson les paul studio, and a 120 W PA ... i used your settings from this video ... love the sound i have ... however, i get a lot of fuzz while playing ... i've tried playing with the inputs/outputs and gain, but still get fuzz ... any suggestions on how to best set up my guitar/mac/pa?

    rock n' roll!

  • @DangerHaiVoltage same for me, exept its in audacity...i dont know if its cause im running through a modeling amp then to the pc , not straight
