Good video for general info and highlighting the differences between single and dual stage snowthrowers. I would have liked details on reliabilty ratings of the new China manufactured engines that seem to dominate sub $1000. machines today which most of us will end up buying. How are the new engines from LCT/Powermore? Manufacturers seem to be sneaky about these engines Sears states "Craftsman engine" in many of their spec sheets. I would prefer a Briggs & Stratton Engine made in the U.S.A.
I have a Toro snowblower that is four years old. It's a single stage, and is ideal for where I am in Canada. It's easy to use, handles everything, and has been completely reliable. For others looking for a single stage, I would recommend buying a blower that uses gasoline, and not a gas - oil mix. My Toro is gas/oil mix and it stinks and likely pollutes the air as much as 20 cars.

@BillyInnes Yeah, it's been a while since we had a no-snow December. Though, we had a small flurry here this afternoon in DC
