Every once in awhile, we get a project that really stands out. Here is one that fits that profile exactly. This home was located in the Central Phoenix area. These are homes that are 50-60 years old, and have brown, red, or green polished concrete. This type of concrete is usually some of the most costly of concrete to prepare for wood flooring. The concrete is incredible hard, so we have specially fabricated diamond tooling that allows us to go as low as a 6grit blade. No one in Arizona that I'm aware of has this aggressive of diamond tooling. This means we can flat outgrind our competition in residential settings. Our grinding equipment in this video has since been upgraded considerably. We modified a 10" Edco grinder to accept (2) PB-1250 vacuum cleaners at the same time. This allows us to put on an even more aggressive called a PCD blade. This blade is about 2-3 time more aggressive than the 6grit, which is incredibly aggressive in its' own right. You see, we're constantly looking for ways to improve our system. I promise that you will not find anyone better suited with the skill and knowledge to flatten concrete in residential homes. Our flattened floors are within 1/16" in 20 linear feet everywhere! So no matter how bad your concrete is, if you're deadset on getting a wood floor we can make that a perfect reality.

  • Hi, thanks for the compliment! Ceramic tile, porcelain or stone could be set over the very next day. You would want to wait that long before applying an anti-fracture membrane over the concrete sections. If you didn't have membrane to apply, as soon as the leveler was set completely you could install, approximately 3-4 hours later. Wood installations would require more curing time. Hope this helps.

  • @pastapill

Make that (2) people who wish you were in Houston. Watching your videos made me raise my expectations on tile installers and so far no one comes close to what you offer.
