@XugaXuga88 I agree, celebrating birthdays is a day to remind you of the arrival of you into earth.
-
Which ayah is that in?

no bodie asks to be born, but all children likes birthdays, and in the quran it says that all that makes a child happy makes it legal, so how can we deny their hapiness.
and i think the mother like to see here child having fun at here or hes birthday.......

mawlid nabi is not a birthday party! its a remembrance day for the arrival of our beloved Messenger of God.
-
mawlid Nabi is for our Prophet s.a.w stupid! and we dont have birthday cakes on that day, duh...

He's making some good points. But the point of birthdays is to celebrate someone's arrival into the world. You are saying to someone you love "You have brought so much joy into our lives, and the day you were born was the greatest day of our lives." Thus, you are celebrating someone as a person overall and his or her life, not just the fact that they were born. And btw, mothers have birthdays too.
say no to mawlid Nabi celebration.

mawlid Nabi s.a.w is the same as celebrating the birth day of his. Thus it is an innovation to celebrate his b'day. Infact there is no such thing in Islam about celebrating other's bday.
