@CaliforniaJoker1 dude if any of those youtube accounts are the next PTA they will shine because sometimes people are born to make movies and PTA was born to make fucking movies bro, so don't call any of those youtubers the next PTA and say "they won't make it" because PTA made it decades ago with a video camera and sundance. We have way more equipment than PTA had at that time the sad fact is we aren't as good as him because he is one of the greatest story tellers ever

@Danoftherocks - I have a theory that Stanley Kubrick and Martin Scorsese had a kid that grew up watching the films of Robert Altman - that today maybe known as Paul Thomas Anderson.

Hypothetically speaking: If the 2012 Mayan apocalypse does indeed occur, I would see "The Master" in a large movie theater with Paul Thomas Anderson sitting on my left and Martin Scorsese sitting on my right. I would also - as an aspiring filmmaker, love to have written a screenplay as good a "Boogie Nights" or "Taxi Driver" with their approval. I would die a happy man.

The real tragedy is that the next Paul Thomas Anderson will probably never get the chance to shine because it's just not what Hollywood is looking for.
Mark my words, someone reading this comment probably has a PDF file on their computer of a script they wrote that would win Oscars and be considered one of the greats (like There Will Be Blood), yet they'll never manage to sell it.
