I love PTA movies. There will be Blood is my favorite, even though it's a bit different from his previous works.

i've recently watched "Boogie Nights" and It was amazing, Phillip Seymour Hoffman gives is best performance ever, also like Mark Walbergh, Adam Sandler, Tom Cruise, John C. Reilly, Julianne Moore and I just don't say that it was Daniel Day-Lewis best performance because He in " My Left Foot" is better, but anyway PTA is one of hte best director working nowadays and I'm forward for his next movie ( and thank you(barringer82) for making this amazing tribute to this amazing director)

well, i wouldn't go so far as calling i Phillip Seymour Hoffman's best, but i gotta say, he shines in this movie. if i saw this film ten years ago, it's easy to predict that the guy would hit big because he's just a terrific actor even in small roles.(i just saw it for the first time 4 days ago).

Now on DDL, i would say MLF was his third best. his Bill the Butcher is definetly better than his Christy Brown. but the BEST is Plainview. with There Will Be Blood. PTA gave DDLa film he derserve

Marty's direction on Gangs is kind of dissapointing, so i would say My Left Foot is a better film than Gangs. My Left Foot is like he perfect "Hallmark" movie. Gangs of New York is just too flawed. Their Age Of Innocence was better.
