In Japanese (and Chinese too, I think it has Buddhists origin?) culture, Lotus which grows from mud and emerge as a beautiful flower represents purity of heart and strength despite difficult circumstances.

I got into Vocaloid when my friend was singing it. My other friend was like "It sounds like a garbage can!" So of course I HAD to look it up. Then I fell in love with it!!!! The first Vocaloid I heard was Kaito!
