Anish Kapoor - Shooting into the Corner

On 2nd Dec 09 we visited the Royal Academy of Arts, London to see Anish
Kapoor's exhibition. This is a cheeky video of his 'Shooting into the
Corner' installation. At twenty minute intervals a compressed air canon
is fired from the Large Weston Room through a doorway into the Small
Western Room. The canon is loaded with 20lb red wax shells which travel
at 50mph to impact onto a false wall. The fired shells are left to
settle and accumulate throughout the length of the exhibition (26/09/09
- 11/12/09). By the close of the exhibition there will be around 30
tons of wax plastered across and flowing out of the Small Western Room.
