@TheCurtainraiser1 There is no special introduction required for Maestro Ilayaraja. Even Northern music lovers know him well.
My father interviewed RD Burman; in 1994, a week before his death; while he came to Cochin to discuss the music for his Malayalam film Thenmavin Kombath(Which he couldnt complete; since he passed away before that). At that time, my father had asked him regarding Ilayaraja. Burman said 'Ilayaraja is the only composer, who gives me a complex!!'
