The ability to laugh at yourself is a great attribute. Look at the Irish. These girls are articulate, animated and entertaining. Keep it coming. We all love a Nyu Zelin' Excent.

@xEmmaluff Don't be insulted. Lived in NZ for 14 years and people do speak like this. Others don't.
These girls are having fun, laughing at themselves-that is an important attribute. Be happy.

I have a friend who visits from New Zealand and his cousin (who's my neighbor) has the name "Spencer" and whenever he says "Spencer" it sounds like "Spiencah". So when I'm trying to get into "Kiwi" mode, I say "Spiencah" and it helps me remember how the NZ accent is supposed to sound. Just saying :)

I think you're almost missing the point here... a lot of American and British dialects omit the letter T, too.
You should comment about the pronounciation of E in "letter, second, steps" in this video.
- second installment
- omiting letters
- easy steps

You girls are doing an awesome job! I wish I had this for reference when I first moved to NZ. And to all the people who say kiwis don't talk like this...you're either deaf or in denial. Not to say *all* kiwis talk like this, but a good chunk.
Still, embrace the accent! Love this!!! <3

Wow, is this bad 'kiwi' or what! I don't talk like that, nor does every other kiwi I know.
