  • No, it's a "Jocul cu bata" a lad's stick dance from Transylvania. It's supposed to be this fast if interpreted as folk music. If played as classical music perhaps you are right, Bartok certainly played it slower ;)

  • the first dance is supposed to be slower and deeper!!
