Paul Weller at V Festival 2010

During this backstage interview with Absolute Radio's Geoff Lloyd, Paul reveals that he's turned down an MBE. The Modfather looks back at past festivals, including the first V Festival. He tells Geoff that they've changed because people just want to hear the greatest hits. Weller also explains how he's been hit by loads of thrown objects and even admits to having lost it with members of the public! When asked about his Mercury Prize nomination, Weller tells Geoff that the award normally goes to someone who nobody has ever heard of, so he's doubtful that he'll win. The Gallagher brothers also get a mention during the interview as Weller has hired Noel Gallagher as his drummer on some new material he's working on! The former Jam star also says that he's visited Liam's shop and is going to be wearing a Liam Gallagher jacket on stage tonight.
