There is no justification whatsoever for banning smoking anywhere that is OUTDOORS unless it constitutes a fire hazard, such as at a gas station, etc. This is ridiculous.

Great example of just how little people even care about smoking and smoking bans, and I'm referring to the non-smokers here. The media, lawmakers and anti-smoking groups make smoking sound as if smokers are walking around with automatic weapons, firing upon innocent crowds and as if every single non-smoker is a worried target. No real difference in practical terms between regulating marijuana & marijuana products & regulating tobacco & tobacco products. Unless the Supreme Court were to radically change direction on this issue a federal ban on cigarettes would probably pass constitutional muster. To say that the fed government has the power to ban marijuana, but not cigarettes, is inconsistent; if it has the power to ban 1, it has the power to ban both.

I rebel the smoking ban all the time, i dont find it fair at all the business owner cant decide if they want to allow it or not, i even light up before im outside when at a resturant, stand beside no smoking signs and smoke. I know for a fact that these bans are based on junk science and im not doing this silly stuff..unfourtantly I am hard working and I cant go out for a drink anymore because im not going outside to smoke cause its stupid.
