After making a penalty kick, Fredy Montero of the Seattle Sounders FC, does a little taunting directed towards the customers of the Portland Timbers during US Open Cup play. The Sounders beat the Timbers on pk's to advance in the tournament.

@chuy25 MLS doesn't usually reveal salary numbers, but it's safe to say the AVERAGE MLSer makes around 60-80k I would think. The better ones, like Montero, make 300k-1 or 2 million. As far as who to watch on p*rtscum, it sounds like the rooke Nagbe is going to be pretty good. I just wonder if he'll have the support around him to develop properly, being on an expansion club and all.

the salary cap is less than 3 million per team and I think 375k goes towards it if it's a designated player which means that some of these guys are only make 20-30k a year, not 60-80k

@thierryman with the new CBA, the MINIMUM salary a player can recieve is 40k. As of June of last year, the AVERAGE salary for an MLSer was 138k. So acutally, my first comment was too conservative.
