I agree with you 100% I am an X Phile and agree with you. The movie did not have to be exclusively alien. The show may have had over 60 mythology episodes but in the end the show was about the characters and all things paranormal not just aliens. Tell me Morpheus what are X files? Their are not just files about UFO's they are about ALL paranormal events Hence the movie was exactly what the show was about

why cause there was no green men? you giant male-nerd... it had a great intertwining plot line, which begged the question does god exist? which was the whole point of the alien story line and alot of the other stories in the series! "I WantTo Believe" is referring to believing in God...or some higher power- hints believing in aliens..the story happensto do with actual religion instead of aliens this time

Excuse me? This movie was absolutely, 100% terrible. Please people, don't see this movie. Good god, it's like the creators decided to take a giant crap on the X-files name.

The blue effect is only in the trailer, and is not part of the movie.

I won't say much about that last part, but I will say you'll be happy.
