@tshkwmt Tapes are much cheaper and offer more data capacity for your money. More than Flash memory. The only disadvantage is that if you're copying the Videos to your PC it has to be done in realtime. But these Tapes are very good for archiving since they are very durable and solid. One more thing. You should allways stick with one brand. I prefer the standard (orange) Sony Premium DV tapes. No need to pay for expensive HDV tapes. Standard tapes are working perfectly.

canon HV20? Not bad...not bad...I shoot with the RED Epic and I like to see you people doing some good shit with a tiny lille cam. editing is also very good. let me guess...didi you use "magic Bullet" on post? the only thing i don't like about it is that these softwares is so hard on the CONTRAST that removes the correct gamma so everything that is dark, goes straight to black and you loose all the detail...

I saw a student film that won awards that was shit compared to this. I can tell time went in to corrections and that some directing was involved in the performances.
