You realize all these claims at the amount of people that were killed by Communist Societies were way overexaggerated by US propagandists in order to smear those countries. John Holdren is Obama's appointed Science Czar. Like all Czars, they were not approved by the Senate, which is unconstitutional. He advocated in his book "Ecoscience", sterilization of the human population by adding a sterilization drug to the food and water supply and the government taking babies away from single mom's. I think he agrees with the quote, "Political power comes at the barrel of a gun". He's not saying Mao is a good guy. He says the "free market" is an illusion, because of the way that laws, government, and concentrations of capital/power have created monopolies, or conditions that repress competition.

I don't think anyone thinks free markets are bad, the same way everyone wants to go to heaven, or be enlightened. It's an ideal that doesn't always seem to exist once you learn how the system works
