I don't really agree that this is the same 'style' as Fargo or The Big Lebowski. I think the thing with the Coens is that they go for something different each time. I think the Coens would find it funny how people are even talking - let alone watching - a film like this. I don't think they ever changed from making films just for fun as teens.
Just for the record, I really liked Burn After Reading - but don't compare them!

most people don't admit they were exaggerating.

sorry. i forget some people arent good with exaggeration. :/

I disagree, I'm pretty sure only two people got killed, that wouldn't be every 3 minutes.
Really liking these reviews.

lol, maybe someday i'll give it another shot...maybe :/

I wasn't too warm on this flick but I enjoyed it waaaay more the second time when I watched it on DVD. Awesome review man!
this was amoung the worst movie iv ever seen.
wasnt funny at all.
i liked it at first, but i just dont find it funny when people are murdered every 3 minutes. i know, for example Brad Pitts character, wasnt exactly innocent, but i dont think its funny that they kill everyone.

to be honest, I liked it soooo much better the second time I saw it and originally...SPOILER ALERT!!! when brad pitt's character is murdered I didn't find it funny, until I saw it the second time...watch his dumb goofy grin right as Clooney opens the doors...it's like who when hiding in someone's house would just smile when caught. LOL

This movie really didn't do it for me. I'm a big "the big Lebowski" fan so I might have had a case of high expectations.
Mary Christmas.

yeah, it's nowhere NEAR the greatness that is "the big lebowski", but for me it was good stuff nonetheless...MERRY CHRISTMAS! thanks for watching!
