Looking for marathon training advice? Thinking about running your first trail marathon? Or your 500th? Try Rock/Creek's Scenic City Trail Marathon in Chattanooga, TN, a race that's quickly becoming one of the most popular trail marathons in the East.

Listen to running tips from Andy Colee, who chose this race as his 500th marathon or ultra. He gives advice to first-timers as well as seasoned trail runners and shares some of his pre-race rituals.

The trails at Raccoon Mountain are fast and forgiving, making for a great leisurely race for new trail runners or a full-on speed fest for those in the hunt for a PR.

This year's Scenic City Trail Marathon & 1/2 Marathon was an incredible experience as part of the Vasque Project. All proceeds for the race benefit The Wilderness Trail Association, a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on trail access, maintenance, and outreach.

Part of the Rock/Creek Trail Series, presented by Vasque Project and sponsored by Patagonia, The North Face, Marmot, Hammer Nutrition, SmartWool, Outdoor Research, Greenlife Grocery, and First Tennessee Bank.
