Iowa Interstate train CBBI goes into emergency braking near Atlantic, Iowa in April 2011 for a hot engine in one of the locomotives of its consist. A complete explanation of the event can be found at the end of the video.

Thanks for watching. Unfortunately my current video camera doesn't have the provision for an external mic, so I'm forced to use the built-in mic. Funny thing though, I do have a mic and deadcat already so I'll be ready when I do have a camera that allows external mics.

Just to let you know.... A consist is everything having to do with just the "cars" . The engines are just the "lash-up" together they make a "train". Since the issue was with the engines and you were talking about only the engines you should say, "they had enough power with the remaining 3 gp38-2's & es44ac #511 in the lash-up."

@IAIS510 Thanks, you're absolutely right. I must have had brain fade when I was editing the video. I was actually really excited to see a Geep leading, maybe that's why I said consist instead of lash-up.
