Bev Pegg sings "The Cradley Heath Song". This great song was written by George "Woodie" Woodall with a bit of help from Johnny Tordoff, and recorded by Brian Clift on the "Black Country Night Out" album in 1976. Brian has ceased to perform live these days. Bev is keen to keep this song about his original home town alive and performs it at most of his solo appearances in the Black Country. This version is taken from Bev's 2008 CD "All Sorts Of Stuff". www.bevpegg.co.uk
