Cliff Burton Tribute

Now a tribute to another great bass player.
Im not such a big fan of cliff solos. Mainly because he does his solos all on the wah pedal. But whenever he did his solos he was a madman. So much energy. his solos may not mean much to me, they mean a lot more to other people. He is another great insparation to me. What I really miss about cliff is some of the great songs he wrote with Metallica. For Whom the Bell Tolls, Orion, Call of Ktulu and I think Master Of Puppets. He will never be forgotten for what he did for metallica. If it wasnt for him I would never met Jason. Its sounds kind of wrong though.

I know he inspired Jason. U read my info wrong I guess. Cliff is an incredible bass player. He will always be epic for his playing, his style, his energy and contribution to metallica. Now about his solos. I just didn't like that he did his whole solos on the wah, thats it. Im sure he could have done some other amazing stuff other than the wah pedal. Such as the middle piece in orion. But other than that his solos were crazy. Seeing him play like that especially in bellz like I have in the vid!!

its hard to use a wah pedal correctly and not sound retarded... learning to use effects correctly is like learning a new instrument so cliffs up there playin 2 instruments imo

i dont get whats so bad about wah pedal bass solos because you cant get that sound on guitars and a normal bass solo is only for bassist fans. because you know bass,drum,guitar solo just alone isnt really like music , its more of showing talent. thte whole band together is music. best music.

i was told that bass players should have shorter stubbier fingers... but i also heard that cliff was tall, so he most likely had longer fingers and was amazing at bass, which is encouraging
