Hmm..I guess that depends! Primer makes it look more "smooth" as my boyfriend calls it, thereby making your skin look more airbrushed and flawless. Some might interpret that to mean it looks UNnatural..

If you are using mineral foundation, then it should look natural no matter how you apply it, but primer will make it smoother and continuous. Very nice finish.

hi!!! can you help me?? I want to buy a primer. I've heard about prep+prime skin by MAC and the one you show in this video(Smashbox Photofinish Primer). Which one do you recommend me??

I actually recommend BE prime time over smashbox after wearing them for a while. I really don't know why people don't seem to show an interest in prime time..it gets such good reviews. I have never tried prep and prime from MAC, but it is more like a lotion which might make it easier to apply for some.

ohh thanks! but I can't get BE prime time in my country :( :(

So if I get the Smashbox one, will it work well? cuz I've heard someone saying that it gave her terrible acne that stayed around for about a month after she stopped using it.. :S

sorry for being a pain in the neck.. it's really difficult to choose a good primer :S

Yes I have also heard from two other trusted sources that the smashbox primer caused them to break out :(. You can also try to buy the BE one on ebay! I've had luck. I've also recently tried the MAC Prep+prime SPF 50 and seems to not make me break out! It also is good.

BE Revver upper is something that goes under your moisturizer ....a natural alphahydroxy/skin smoother.

i use BE primer and have never broke out, but i use a cream foundation(fx foundation)

hiya, i couldnt watch the while of ur video coz my internet was super slow in loadin today so in case i missed it, I was just wonderin which primer do u think is better for oily t-zone and the rest of face is normal between smashbox and BE? Id really appreciate ur help. Thanks!
