I am an English student at Oxford - female. I think you're whole approach to this subject is a disgrace & very old fashioned. So you think women should take on the role of the 50s domestic housewife & speak when spoken to, live there day doing household chores & let the man bring home the bacon? Women today have more opportunities than that but unfortunately it is men like you that oppress those rights. & before you accuse me of a confused sexuality I'm in a relationship with one of your own.

This will never happen, because women like these want all the benefits of our society without having to bear its costs.
ERA is absolute nonsense. Nowhere are women denied rights or equal protection under the law in the US Constitution. ERA is redundant superfluous garbage.

What possible discrimination could you face? You're a women, and are draft exempt, and given impunity for all your transgressions. If you commit a crime, you will receive less time, if any. Affirmitive action makes it so employers will favor you for raises and promotions over men, just because of your gender. If you divorce, you will get the kids, even if you are a known child rapist. It's men, who are not equal.
